RZB The first Raiffeisen savings bank was founded in Muhldorf, Lower Austria, in 1886. It was named by Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen, the founder of the first co-operatives, which operated on principle of solidarity, providing to German and Austrian farmers the necessary cash funds. Within just ten years of its operations, more than 600 Raiffeisen savings bank were founded in Austria. Proud to have a 114 years long tradition, RBG is today a modern, global banking group. RBG organisation is based on three levels.
Today RBG runs network banks in Warsaw, Budapest, Zagreb, Moscow, Sofia, Bucharest, Kiev, Bratislava, Prague, Sarajevo, Beograd, Maribor, Pristine and Minsk. Representative offices: Paris, Brussels, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Moscow, Tehran, Ljubljana, Malta, Houston. Branches: New York, London, Singapore, Beijing, Mumbai and Milan. RBG has different share portions in ownership
of the numerous financial institutions worldwide. |
